Origins
Where we come from and what we're doing.
Having worked with the Hannon Hill Cascade Server system on multiple client engagements, Cascade Factory co-founders Robert L. Michaels and Jordan King became quickly impressed with how powerful and flexible the system is, including the ability to integrate with applications written in virtually any language plus a very sophisticated yet flexible work flow system.
Hannon Hill Cascade Server creates impact and return on investment for clients by enabling them to take command of their content in an incredibly robust yet elegant way. After creating measurable impact for multiple clients using the Hannon Hill Cascade Server content management system, Robert and Jordan decided to focus efforts on providing Hannon Hill Cascade Server professional services, and Cascade Factory was born.
Team members have experience and knowledge of many different software languages and command of all the skills necessary to bring a project from conception to delivery. We are very experienced with Rational Unified Process as well as Agile methodology. Our unique management and documentation process is derived from real-world project experience that has proven very reliable and successful throughout many client engagements.

Robert L. Michaels - Managing Partner
Robert is a veteran technology and communication consultant with over sixteen years professional experience providing business process & communication strategy as well as systems implementation services. He has delivered successful software and communications solutions to Fortune 5 companies, major state agencies, major universities as well as public and private clients nationwide.
With a proven track record of success spanning over a decade-and-a-half, Robert has a truly unique blend of experience that is highly sought after by clients who require complex problem solving with measurable results.
Robert is an Eagle Scout, U.S. Merchant Marine Officer (License #1071911) and U.S. Patent Holder (#7,373,346). He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. Robert lives in Austin Texas with wife Chandra, the world-renown pop culture artist behind the Sugarluxe brand.

Jordan King - Partner
Jordan is a software systems specialist creating and maintaining custom solutions and product integrations as planned with clients.
He assists customers in delivering the best solution by drawing from an advanced understanding of computers and experience with a vast range of technologies. Jordan has command of multiple programming languages and is comfortable developing in virtually any platform environment. Having worked with Robert L. Michaels on many successful projects, he is a proven senior developer and team manager.
Jordan received a Computer Science degree from Baylor University, he is also an Eagle Scout, and has been successfully dedicated to improving client's technologies his entire career.
John Michaels - Technical Sales Director
John Michaels has been involved in the technical sales industry for over 18 years. He has developed his skills and industry knowledge working among some of the most successful names in technology including Dell Computer, EMC, VMware, Citrix and Scriptlogic.
John strives to fully understand the needs and requirements of each Cascade Factory client and works to deliver successful results on all levels.
